How To View Gridlines on Label Templates
It can be difficult to design a label if you can’t see the gridlines that display the label margins. Sometimes gridlines do not appear in the label template. This is an easy fix if you know what to do.
How to make a label:
After choosing your label, click the "download template" link underneath the label description. In many cases, Microsoft Word will open with the label template already made. In this case, you may need to turn the gridlines on. We explain how to do that below. If MS Word does not open with a ready-made label template, please see our article on how to create a label yourself.
How to See the Gridlines:
On a Mac
- Go to the "Table" menu.
- If the "Gridlines" option is not checked, select "Gridlines." If the "Gridlines" option is already checked, then the gridlines should be displayed.
On a PC
- Select "Table" in the toolbar.
- A drop-down menu will appear. Select "Show Gridlines."
Now you’re free to easily design each label how you want!
